It takes a professional approach, the right conditions, proper equipment, and a pleasant environment in which everyone feels comfortable to be what they are.
We have established partnerships with accommodation facilities ranging from three to five stars, and they will meet anyone’s demands. We have enabled easy rental of cars and provided other transportation services if deemed necessary, as we are less than ten minutes from the city center and the international airport. Upon request, catering, leisure, and touristic routes can be organized, to make anyone from abroad have the experience of recording at Longplay Studio Zagreb a life-long memory.
The recording rooms of our studio are adapted to meet all technical demands. We have high-end microphones (AKG C12 VR, Neumann U87, RMS 12, Peluso VTB, Sony C48, to name a few). With top-of-the-line equipment such as the powerful Solid State Logic AWS 924 Delta mixing console, Merging Technologies HORUS, and ANUBIS Premium AD/DA converters, every component in our studio meets the highest industry standards.
2. Mixing – make your artists’ sound stand out
Longplay Studio features a Dolby Atmos™ 7.1.4 system, allowing the unique immersive experience of mixing. It allows the summing of up to 128 individual tracks, which creates endless possibilities of sound’s scapes and dimensions. Genelec the Ones in the surround system and a PMC 6-2 XBD as the main stereo monitoring system provide exceptional control over every frequency range and song dynamics. Longplay Studio is also certified to provide an audiophile’s favorite DSD (Direct Stream Digital) format, promising sound quality in high resolution.
Tomo Bacurin “Diamond” is our in-house producer with a long history of mixing for regional- and worldwide-renowned artists. Although he specializes in pop and R’n’B, he has avid experience in rock, blues, dance, and hip-hop genres. With him aboard, your mix will become subject to professional scrutiny and immaculate attention to detail, because he accepts only perfection as a condition for accomplishment.
We guarantee that no mastering engineer will return the mix due to technical flaws.
3. Mastering – knock on the door of any label
Longplay Studio is certified by Apple Digital Masters. From the powerful Solid State Logic AWS 924 Delta mixing console to the state-of-the-art Merging Technologies HORUS and ANUBIS Premium AD/DA converters, every component in our studio was installed to enable consistent delivery of industry-standard masters. Our songs were never rejected by a radio or TV station due to technical flaws or subpar production.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the benefit of mastering in Dolby Atmos™ setup, concerning the increased royalty rates received from the streaming platforms.
Artists who publish songs on this scale of quality deserve more compensation for being aired, which is why major labels insist on remastering every commercially successful project from their roster.
